Concept:
- Placenta previa is a condition in which the placenta is implanted in the lower uterine segment that completely or partially covers the cervix.
Depending upon its attachment in the lower uterine segment placenta previa is divided into 4 types:-
- Low lying
- Marginal
- Partial
- Complete
