For the given truss,

 members (m) = 15, joints (j) = 8

External Indeterminacy = r – 3

r = no of support reactions = 4

Hence, External Indeterminacy = 4 – 3 = 1

Internal Indeterminacy = m – (2j – 3) = 15 – ( 2 x 8 – 3) = 2
