As per the given data,

Efficiency is inversely proportional to the time taken

Aaravya is 50% more efficient, Ratio of efficiency of Atul and Aaravya = 100: 150

∴ Time taken by Atul to the Aaravya= 150: 100

Let x be the number of days taken by Aaravya to do a piece of work

⇒ 150 : 100 = 18 : x

⇒ x = 100 × 18/150 = 12

∴ Atul takes 18 - x = 18 - 12 = 6 days than Aaravya to do the same piece of work.
