In a cycle stand, Atlas is 8th from left and Hero is 10th from the right.  Their positions are interchanged. Now Atlas becomes 12th from the left. How many cycles are there in the row of a cycle stand and what is the position of Hero cycle from right now?

In a cycle stand, Atlas is 8th from left and Hero is 10th from the right.  Their positions are interchanged. Now Atlas becomes 12th from the left. How many cycles are there in the row of a cycle stand and what is the position of Hero cycle from right now? Correct Answer 21, 14th

Atlas is the 8th from left means 7 cycles on its left &, Hero is the 10th from right means 9 cycles on its right.

After interchanging the positions, Atlas becomes 12th from the left.

So, the total number of cycles will be, 12 + 10 - 1 = 21

Now, Hero is 8th from left after interchanging; so, its position from right = 21(total cycles) – 7(cycles on its left) = 14th from right

Hence, “21, 14th” is the correct answer.
