Let the production, profit on a unit, part of profit donated to charity and the number of the previous beneficiaries be a, c, b and d respectively.

Money donated per head = (Total profit × Part of which is donated to charity) /Number of beneficiaries

⇒ Mp = abc/d

Money donated per head in the current year = (130% of a × 125% of b × 120% of c) /150% of d

⇒ M = (1.3 × 1.25 × 1.2/1.5) × (abc/d)

⇒ M = 1.3 Mp

∴ Percentage increase in the money donated per head = (1.3 - 1) /1 × 100 = 30%
