For investment ratio,

Akash ∶ Arpit = (150000 × 24) ∶ (50000 × 18) = 3600000 ∶ 900000 = 4 ∶ 1

Amount of profit earn by Arpit = × 120000 = Rs. 24000

If Arpit join from starting,

Respective ratio =

Akash ∶ Arpit = 150000/50000 = 3/1 = 3 ∶ 1

Profit made by Arpit = × 120000 = Rs. 30000

∴ Required difference = 30000 – 24000 = Rs. 6000
