Let the boys and the girls in class A be ‘3x’ and ‘2x’ respectively.

Boys in class B = 3x × (5/6) = 2.5x

Girls in class B = (2x + 22)

According to the question∶

2.5x ∶ (2x + 22) = 7 ∶ 10

25x = 14x + 154

x = 14

Total students in class B = 2.5x + (2x + 22) = 35 + 50 = 85
