As 3 and 6 are the common faces on both the dice, 2 is opposite to 4.

Remaining number of dots are 1 and 5.

One of these numbers is opposite to 3.

So, if the dice is resting on the side with three dots, then the number of dots on the side at the top will be either 1 or 5.

Hence, ‘1 or 5’ is the correct answer.
