Ratio of profit = 6 : 7

Calculation:

Let Purnima joined the business after x months.

So, Purnima money was invested for (12 – x) months

According to question:

⇒ (20,000 × 12)/ = 6/7

⇒ (20,000 × 12 × 7) = 6

⇒ (20,000 × 12 × 7) = 2,40,000 × (12-x)

⇒ 7 = 12-x

⇒ x = 5 months

Purnima joined after 5 months.
