Concept:
The velocity of a rigid rod will remain the same whether calculated by resolving the velocity vector of slider 'A' or slider 'B' in a direction of a rigid rod i.e.
VA × cos 45° = VB × cos 45º = Velocity of a rigid rod (Vrd)
VA = VB = Vrd
Calculation:
Given:
Velocity of rigid rod = 3 m/s
∴ VA = VB = 3 m/s
