Concept:

Efficiency = 1/Time 

Calculation:

According to the questions,

                    Pipe A          Pipe A + Leakage 

Efficiency        2                       1

Time               1                        2

⇒ 2 - 1 = 1 unit = 36 hours

⇒ 1 unit = 36 hours 

Then Pipe A taken time 1 unit = 36 hours 

∴ The inflow pipe time is 36 hours.
