Calculation:

Total cost of five packets of pencil = Rs.5 × 5 = Rs.25

Total cost of two sheets of glazed paper = Rs.2.50 × 2 = Rs.5

Total cost of two-pack of color pen = Rs.15.00 × 2 = Rs.30

Total cost of two dozen copy = Rs.245 × 2 = Rs.490

Total amount paid to shopkeeper = 25 + 5 + 30 + 490 = Rs.550

Total 50 rupees notes given to shopkeeper = Rs.550 ÷ Rs.50 = 11

∴ Total 11 notes of 50 rupees are given to shopkeeper.
