Calculation:

3 Hen worth Rs. = 21

Then 1 Hen worth Rs. = 21/3 = 7

5 Chicks worth Rs. = 20

Then,1 Chicks worth Rs. = 20/5 = 4

Then,cost of 12 hen and 4 chicks is = 12 × 7 + 4 × 4 = 100

Then,cost of 16 hen and 2 chicks is = 16 × 7 + 2 × 4 = 120

Then,cost of 4 hen and 12 chicks is = 4 × 7 + 12 × 4 = 76

Then,cost of 8 hen and 11 chicks is = 8 × 7 + 11 × 4 = 100

The price of 16 hen and 2 chicks is more than Rs 100

∴ 16 hen and 2 chicks cannot bought for Rs 100
