Average of first 2 members = 18

Average of last 2 members = 16

Formula Used:

The sum of the number of clothes = Number of people × Average of the number of clothes

Calculation:

The sum of the number of clothes have all family members = 5 × 20 = 100

The sum of the number of clothes have first 2 people = 18 × 2 = 36

The sum of the number of clothes have last 2 people = 16 × 2 = 32 

⇒ The number of clothes has middle-person = {100 - (36 + 32)} = 32
