Returns = Investment × time

Calculations:

Let the capital be x.

Investment of Sachin = x/3 × t/4 = xt/12

Investment of Girish = x/4 × t/2 = xt/8

Investment of Vaibhav = 5x/12 × t

Profit is to be shared in the ratio xt/12 ∶xt/8 ∶ 5xt/12

∴ 2 ∶ 3 ∶ 10

Share of Sachin in the profit = (2 × 3600)/15 = Rs.480

∴ Share of Sachin in profit is Rs.480.
