Given below are quantities named I and II. Based on the given information, you have to determine the relation between the two quantities. You should use the given data and your knowledge of mathematics to choose among the possible answer. Tiger and Panther working together can complete a piece of work in 15 days. Lion can complete it in 60 days. When Lion and Panther alternately work for a day each the work gets completed in 40 days.  Quantity I: Number of days in which Tiger will complete thrice the work.  Quantity II: Number of days in which Panther will complete thrice the work.

Correct Answer Quantity I = Quantity II

Let, the total work be 60 units.

Work done by Lion in one day = 1 unit

Lion and Panther work for 40 days alternately.

Lion does 20 × 1 = 20 units and Panther does 40 units in 20 days.

∴ Panther does 2 units/day.

Tiger and Panther do all the units in 15 days.

Which means Panther does 15 × 2 = 30 units and Tiger does remaining 30 units.

∴ Tiger does 2 units/day.

Efficiency of Tiger and Panther is same.

∴ Quantity A = Quantity B
