Six persons namely A, B, C, D, E and F are standing in a queue to get a train ticket in a railway station. A is standing between E and F. F is ahead of B and E is standing behind D. C is standing behind B. Due to closing time at the ticket counter, they will give tickets only to the first four persons. Who will not get the tickets? Correct Answer B and C
1) A is standing between E and F. So we have two cases:
E > A > F OR F > A > E
2) F is ahead of B and E is standing behind D. So, the second possibility gets eliminated.
D > E > A > F > B
3) C is standing behind B.
Thus the final queue becomes: D > E > A > F > B > C
The last two will not get tickets as per the question. Thus the persons not getting the tickets are B and C.
