In a class, there are six students A, B, C, D, F, and G. B got more marks than D but fewer marks than C. G got more marks than C but fewer marks than A. Everybody scored more marks than F. Who among the following scored the second-highest marks? Correct Answer G
1 B got more marks than D
→ C > B > D
2) G got more marks than C but fewer marks than A
→ A > G > C
3) Everybody scored more marks than F means F scored the poorest marks.
On combining we get,
A > G > C > B > D > F
Hence, G scored the second highest marks.
