 Given:

Total number of people = 60

Readers of Newsweek magazine (a) = 25

Readers of Time (b) = 26

Readers of Fortune (c) = 26

Readers of only Newsweek and Fortune (d) = 9

Readers of only Newsweek and Time (e) = 11

Readers of only Time and Fortune (f) = 8

Calculations:

From the Venn diagram,

Number of people who read Newsweek only = a – e – (d – g)

⇒ Number of people who read Newsweek only = 25 – 11 – (9 – 3)

⇒ Number of people who read Newsweek only = 8 ----(1)

Similarly,

Number of people who read Time only = b –f – (e – g)

⇒ Number of people who read Time only = 26 – 8 – (11 – 3)

⇒ Number of people who read Time only = 10 ----(2)

Number of people who read Fortune only = c – d – (f – g)

⇒ Number of people who read Fortune only = 26 – 9 – (8 – 3)

⇒ Number of people who read Fortune only = 12 ----(3)

From (1), (2) and (3),

Number of people who read only Newsweek, Time and Fortune respectively = 8, 10, 12

∴ The number of people who read only Newsweek, Time and Fortune is 8, 10, 12 respectively.
