A liquid of density 0.1 kg/m3 is flowing through a pipe at a rate of 15 kg/s, what will be the area of the pipe if the fluid velocity is 5 m/s?
A liquid of density 0.1 kg/m3 is flowing through a pipe at a rate of 15 kg/s, what will be the area of the pipe if the fluid velocity is 5 m/s? Correct Answer 30 m2
Volumetric flow rate of the liquid = 15/0.1 = 150 m3/s, => Area of pipe = 150/5 = 30 m2.
