ধরি, x কেজিতে 8% লাভ করে ∴ (1000 - x)  "  18%  "  "∴ 8100×(1000 - x)×18100 = 1000×14100⇒8x + 10(1000 - x) = 1000×14⇒8x + 18000 - 18x = 14000⇒ - 10x = 14000 - 18000⇒10x = 4000∴ x = 400 18% লাভে বিক্রি করে (1000 - 400) বা 600 কেজি।
