Formula Used∶

Basics of ratios.

Calculation∶

Warren's share = 20000 

× 24 = 

$ 480000

Larry's share = 15000 

× 24 = 

$ 360000

Sergey share = 20000 

× 18 = 

$ 360000

So, Ratio of their shares = 480000 

∶ 360000 

∶ 360000

⇒ 48 ∶ 36 ∶ 36

⇒ 4 ∶ 3 ∶ 3

Sum of the ratio = 4 + 3 + 3 = 10

Thus, Larry's share = 3/10 × 25000 = $ 7500

∴ Larry's share in total profit of $ 25000 is of $ 7500.
