If the sum of the square of two positive numbers is 706 and the square root of one number is 5, then what will be the square root of the other number? Correct Answer 3
Given:
The sum of the square root of two positive numbers is 706
The square root of one number is 5
Calculation:
Let the two numbers be 'a' and 'b' respectively
According to the question
a2 + b2 = 706 -----(i)
√a = 5 ----(ii)
⇒ a = 25 ----(iii)
On putting the value of equation (iii) in equation (i), we get
⇒ 252 + b2 = 706
⇒ 625 + b2 = 706
⇒ b2 = 81
⇒ b = 9
⇒ √b = √9 = 3
∴ The value of square root of b is 3.
NOTE:
In the previous paper question, there was a mistake in the question part which was "In place of the square there was square root"
According to that data, we are unable to get any options that's why we have changed a small data in this question.
