P, Q, R, S and T are five students. P is shorter than Q but taller than T. R is the tallest. S is shorter than Q and taller than P. Which student has two students taller and two students shorter than him/her? Correct Answer S
1) P is shorter than Q but taller than T. R is the tallest.
So there are three cases possible-:
Case 1-: R > _ > Q > P > T
Case 2-: R > Q > P > T > _
Case 3-: R > Q > _ > P > T
2) S is shorter than Q and taller than P.
So only Case 3 will remain, rest will be eliminated.
R > Q > S > P > T
So according to case 3, student who has two students taller and two students shorter than him is S.
Hence, the correct answer is "S".
