Given:

The fees of primary section (X) increases by Rs. 40 every year,

while the fees of secondary section (Y) increases by Rs. 30 every year

Calculation:

Suppose primary section will have Rs. 40 more fees than the secondary section after z years.

Then, (420 + 40z) - (630 + 30z) = 40

⇒ 10z – 210 = 40

⇒ 10z = 250

⇒ Z = 25

∴ Primary section will have Rs. 40 more fees than the secondary section after 25 years i.e. 2028
