What is the share of kishore in the profit? Correct Answer Rs. 901.64
Initial investment of Derick = Rs. 3500
⇒ Derick invested Rs. 3500 for 3 months and Rs. (3500 – 750) = 2750 for 3 months.
⇒ And, Kishore invested Rs. 5000 for 3 months
⇒ Rajat : Derick : Kishore = (2000 ⨯ 6) : (3500 ⨯ 3 + 2750 ⨯ 3) : (5000 ⨯ 3)
⇒ Rajat : Derick : Kishore = 12000 : 18750 : 15000
⇒ Rajat : Derick : Kishore = 1200 : 1875 : 1500
⇒ Total profit for 6 months = Rs.2750
∴ Kishore’s share = Rs. (2750 ⨯ 1500/4575) = Rs. 902
