Ratio of number of Maharashtrian meal plates to number of South Indian meal plate =

⇒ 40 : 65 = 8 : 13

Use compounded ratio = plates – charges per plate

The ratio of total charges collected for Maharashtrian meal plate and total charges collected for South Indian meal plate –

⇒ (8 : 13) and (3 : 4) = (8 × 3) : (13 × 4)
