Given,
Area of square = (side)2
Area of square = 16 × 16 = 256 sq.cm
Area of rectangle = 256 × 3/2 = 384 sq.cm
Given,
Area of rectangle = Length × breadth
Length of rectangle = 384/16 = 24 cm
Diameter of a circle = 24/4 = 6 cm
Radius of a circle = 6/2 = 3 cm
Area of circle = 22/7 × 3 × 3
= 28.28 sq.cm
Required percentage =
= (28.28/384) × 100
= 7.4%
