Let the number of students in class A = x
According to the question∶
x + 400 × x/100 = 400
x + 4x = 400
x = 80
The number of students in class B = 400 - 80 = 320
So, the number of girls in class B = 320 × 35/100 = 112
Required percentage = (112/400) × 100 = 28%
