In a class, 93 students are attending a class which including 44 boys and 49 girls. In the next period, 17 boys and 11 girls leave the class and 21 girls and 14 boys enter the class. What is the difference in the number of boys and girls in the class now?

In a class, 93 students are attending a class which including 44 boys and 49 girls. In the next period, 17 boys and 11 girls leave the class and 21 girls and 14 boys enter the class. What is the difference in the number of boys and girls in the class now? Correct Answer 18

Number of boys in first class = 44

Number of boys in the second class = 44 – 17 + 14 = 41

Number of girls in first class = 49

Number of girls in second class = 49 – 11 + 21 = 59

Difference = 59 – 41 = 18

Hence, 18 is the correct answer.
