An eraser cost = Rs. 3

Cost of 20 erasers = Cost of 3 pens

⇒ 3 × 20 = Cost of three pens

⇒ Cost of three pens = 60

⇒ Cost of one pens = 60/3 = 20

Now, cost of one pen = Cost of two pencils

⇒ 20 = Cost of two pencils

⇒ Cost of six pencils = 20 × 3 = 60

Now, cost of six pencils = Cost of five markers

⇒ 60 = Cost of five markers

⇒ Cost of one marker = 60/5 = Rs. 12

∴ The cost of one marker is Rs. 12.
