Correct option is (B) 36

Total work done by 24 men in 14 days by working 6 hours a day \(=24\times14\times6\)

Let x men are required to complete same work in 8 days by working 7 hours per day.

\(\therefore\) \(x\times8\times7=24\times14\times6\)

\(\Rightarrow\) \(x=\frac{24\times14\times6}{8\times7}\) \(=3\times2\times6\) = 36

\(\therefore\) 36 men are required to complete same work in 8 days by working 7 hours per day.
