E = 24 V, r = 380 Ω

i. Maximum current (I_max)

ii. Can battery start the motor?

Formula : I_max = E/r

Calculation : From formula,

I_max = 24/380 = 0,063 A

As, the value of current is very small compared to required current to run a starting motor of a car, this battery cannot be used to drive the motor.
