তরল পদার্থের আয়তন আছে । কিন্তু কোন আকার নেই ।একে যে পাত্রে রাখা হয় সে পাত্রের আকার ধারণ করে।পদার্থের এই অবস্থাকে তরল পদার্থ বলে ।যেমনঃ পানি, তৈল, দুধ ইত্যাদি।
