Krishna had an acute pain in his last molar tooth. He went to his family Doctor for check up. The doctor advised him to get it extracted. But his younger sister objected to it saying that it is wisdom tooth which seems to be responsible for his IQ. However Krishna followed the doctor's advise and asked the doctor to remove it so that he may get rid of the dental pain.

(i) No, wisdom tooth has got nothing to do with performance and success in the examination and also has no any role in IQ. It is only a vestigial organ and there is no harm in getting it extracted. 

(ii) These organs were functional and useful in our Prehistoric ancestors in early times when environmental and habitat conditions were different. But during course of evolution these organs have lost their usefulness.
