Let x and y be the supplementary angles, where x > y.
As per the given condition
x + y = 1800 …….(i)
And x – y = 180 ……..(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii), we get
2x = 1980
⇒ x = 990
Now, substituting x = 990 in (ii), we have
990 – y = 180
⇒ x = 990 – 180 = 810
Hence, the required angles are 990 and 810 .
