Radius (r) of the base of cone = (10.5/2) cm= 5.25 cm

Slant height (l) of cone = 10 cm

CSA of cone = πrl

= (22/7 x 5.25 x 10) cm2

= (22 x 0.75 x 10) cm2 = 165 cm2

Therefore, the curved surface area of the cone is 165 cm2.

Diameter of the base of a cone, d = 10.5 cm.

height h = 10 cm.

Curved Surface Area, C.S.A. = ?

d = 10.5 cm, = 10\(\frac{1}{2} = \frac{21}{2}\)cm.

h = l = 10 cm.

∴ Curved Surface Area of a cone = πrl
