l = 42cm
b = 30cm
h = 27cm
Thickness of wood = 1cm
Inner dimensions
l = 42 - (1 + 1) = 40cm
b = 30 - 1(1 + 1) = 28cm
h = 27 - (1 + 1) = 25cm
∴ Capacity of the box l × b × h
= 40 × 28 × 25
= 28000cm2.
