A marble block of mass 2kg lying on ice when given a velocity of 6m/s is stopped by friction in 10s. Then the coefficient of friction is
(a) 0.02

(b) 0.03

(c) 0.06

(d) 0.01.

but accleration is change in velocity / time then how u/t
please repected mam / sir clear my doubt

acceleration is change in velocity ie v-u, here the initial velocity if the marble is 0 as it is at rest
so a=v-u/t is
 a=v/t...............(u=0)
hope u got it.

(c) : Frictional force provides the retarding force

Therefore, µmg = ma

or µ = a/g =(u/t)/g = (6/10)/10 = 0.06.
