1. Odisha-Jharkhand Belt- Famous for Haematite iron ore. Badampahar Mines in the Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar districts. Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.
2. Durg-Bastar-Chamdarapur Belt- High Grade Haematite ore. Chhatisgarh and Maharashtra.Bailadadila range of hills the Bastar district of Chattisga.Iron ore from thsese Mines is exported to Japan , S.Korea from Vishakhapatnam port
3. Bellary- Chikmagalur-Chitradurga Belt- Kudremukh deposits in Karnataka are one of the largest in the Kudremukh Mines are hundred percent export units.
