Suggest three measures to protect ourselves from lightning.

Protective measures against lightning are: 

(a). Stay indoor or under covered area. 

(b). Do not take bath during lightning. 

(c). Do not use any electrical appliances during lightning.

Some of the measures to protect ourselves from lightning are as follows:

(i) We should stay in a completely closed place. 

(ii) We should avoid standing in open during thunderstorm.

(iii) If moving in a car, we should remain there until the lightning is over and close the windows.

We must protect ourselves from lightening in the following ways: 

1. We must find a safe place to stay. A house or building are safe to stay in. If we are in a car or a bus, we must keep the windows and doors of the vehicle shut. 

2. If there is no shelter available, we must remain in the squat position. 

3. We must avoid the use of telephone cords, electrical wires and metal pipes. 

4. Bathing should be avoided during thunderstorms to avoid contact with running water. 

5. Electrical appliances like computers, TVs, etc., should be unplugged.
