Seeds are naked in gymnosperms, while they are covered in angiosperms. Gymnosperms do not bear flowers, while angiosperms bear flowers.
Gymnosperms have seeds which are naked and they are perennial, evergreen and woody. But in Angiosperms, the seeds develop inside an organ which is modified to become a fruit.
The gamnosperms bear naked seeds (i.e., the seeds are not enclosed within the fruits) wheras the angiosperms bear seeds inside the fruits.
