According to the universal law of gravitation, the force of attraction between the Earth and the Sun is given by 

= ( × × ℎ) / 2 

Where, 

MSun = Mass of the Sun = 2 × 1030 kg 

MEarth = Mass of the Earth = 6 × 1024 kg 

R = Average distance between the Earth and the Sun = 1.5 × 1011

G = Universal gravitational constant = 6.7 × 10−11 Nm2 kg−2 

= 6.7 × 10−11 × 2 × 1030 × 6 × 1024 / (1.5 × 1011) 2 = 3.57 × 1022  

Hence, the force of gravitation between the Earth and the Sun is 3.57 × 1022 N
