The word ‘digital’ comes from ‘numbers or digits’. We have a dream to build Bangladesh using digital technology. ‘Digital Bangladesh’ is the implementation of this dream that the present government has taken up. However, the country can be called digital if all the conditioning computers and internet in rural areas are powered and arrangements are made to reach digital services. Building a digital Bangladesh is a delicate task. This is a long-term process. Basically, there must be a continuing force in the country that will play an active role in this work. Digital Bangladesh has many advantages. In digital Bangladesh, all sectors of government will work by clicking on the computer mouse. This will save both time and energy. All other sectors of government will be developed through digital technology. Building a digital Bangladesh by 2021 was one of the promises of the present government. However, if our government can realize this dream of digital Bangladesh, our country will be able to make progress in all fields.
