Jack Staff is a comic book by the writer/artist Paul Grist, currently published by Image Comics. Its large supporting cast are based upon other British comics characters and archetypes, and its main character is the eponymous Jack Staff.
A slow-boiling plot line hints at a coming battle between two opposing groups, the Green and the Red, with the first hints occurring in Jack Staff vol. 1, #6. The Green was revealed to exist in Jack Staff: Soldiers and the Red was named in Jack Staff vol. 2, #12. The apocalypse was first shown in Jack Staff Special #1, the final adversary in The Weird World of Jack Staff #1, and the prophesied champion revealed in Weird World #4.
