Most Hindus are found in Asian countries, and the majority of India and Nepal are Hindus. Countries with more than 5,000 Hindu residents and citizens include India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Fiji, Bhutan, Indonesia , Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Myanmar, Thailand, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Mauritius, Suriname and the Caribbean.
There are significant numbers of Hindu enclaves around the world, with many in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Hinduism is also practiced by the non-Indic people like the Balinese of Bali island , Tengger and Osing of Java and the Balamon Chams of Vietnam, and Ghanaian Hindus in Ghana.
