Dr Thomas Spens FRSE was an 18th/19th century Scottish physician who served as President of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh from 1803 to 1806.
He was one of the first to provide a written report on what is now called cardiovascular syncope or Stokes-Adams syndrome.
