Concept-
- The failure of passing meconium in first 24 hours may be a sign of medical condition such as intestinal obstruction.

Stimulate the baby to bowel’s by doing the following:
- Bend their knees towards their chest.
- Gently massage their abdomen.
- Give him warm bath for relax muscles.

- The absence of ganglion cell leaves the affected portion of intestine paralyzed and unable to propagate stool.
- Hirschsprung disease is a birth defect. This disorder is characterized by the absence of ganglion cell
- The absence of ganglion cell causes the muscles in the bowel to lose their ability to move stool through intestine.
