- This happens because the light travels in a straight light and if there is any obstacle in between the light could not pass through it.
- It is formed on the screen. It can be a wall or anything like this.
The size of the shadow depends upon the distance between opaque objects and the source of light.
- This is caused as the path of light is blocked by the object.
A yellow object is an opaque object hence a black shadow will be formed.
The size of the shadow will become larger as the distance between the source of light and the object is larger.
So, the size always depends upon the relative distance between a light source. Hence, statement 3 is incorrect.

Thus, the incorrect statement about shadow formation is that length of the shadow is always same as length of object.
