Option 2 : B and D
Social Science is a branch of science that deals with human behavior and social relationships, which rely primarily on empirical approaches. A source in social science can be referred to as something which tells the origin of an object or an event. For example, the Taj Mahal says a lot about Shahjahan.
Secondary Source:-
- The secondary sources are those which have already been collected by some other agency and which have already been processed. Secondary data may be available in the form of published or unpublished sources.
- These are sources that are derived from the primary source after some analysis. Examples are biographies, dissertations, indexes, A review of a film, and A documentary on use of natural resources.
Thus,it is concluded that B and D are the correct options.
Primary Source: These are the sources created when the event had taken place. It should be noted that any personnel is also a primary source who is/was present at an event. For example, coins, rivers, forts, visit to a government hospital, interview of a freedom fighter, A visit to the Coin museum at Reserve bank of India, etc.
